Harry Kane was a happy man after his team qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.

It was a disappointing start, we know that and did not come out with any energy and they got the two goals and put us under pressure, it was an uphill struggle but we go the goals and it feels good to qualify,” Kane told BT Sport.

“We needed to be calm especially after scoring. We did not have to rush it and we had a bit of freedom and enjoy it a bit more.

The brace from Harry Kane was enough to see off Olympiakos with the player now becoming the youngest player ever to reach 20 Champions League goals. He beat Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero to the record.

Speaking about the record, Kane added: “Not a bad player to beat. It was about qualifying, no matter how we did it but we had to win and we did that. We can enjoy it and try and deep the momentum for Saturday.”

Tottenham have now won both matches under new boss Mauricio Pochettino by scoring 7 goals in two matches, 3 of which has been scored by Kane.
