After having an inconsistent start in Germany, James is determined to stay at the club and prove his worth. The 26-year-old joined Bayern in the summer on a 2-year with from Real Madrid with a view to making it permanent.
He struggled to find a place under Carlo Ancelotti but has found more game time under Jupp Heynckes.
Speaking at a news conference earlier today, he said, “I’ll stay here… I am very happy in Munich. I don’t want to think about something else.”

I have a very good feeling in the team. I hope things also go well in the second half of the season because I still want to achieve a lot with this team.
“I slowly found my rhythm. It helped that I got so much playing time. I like the Bundesliga stadiums a lot; they are always full. You also play against very good teams. It’s a top league.”
Bayern are currently leading the Bundesliga table and are poised to win it again.
