Atletico Madrid are ready to hijack Chelsea’s £35million deal for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
It emerged earlier this week that the Blues and Spanish side were both interested in Batshuayi, and Marseille have been quick to point out that they will want a minimum of £35million for him.
Reports in all 3 countries are suggesting that both sides are not fazed by this fee.
t is claimed Atletico manager Diego Simeone is keen to land 22-year-old Batshuayi before another Champions League club complete the deal.
Valencia are believed to have sourced out the striker as an alternative force in their attacking line should playmaker Alvaro Negredo be sold in January.
