Conte has big interest in Belotti
Chelsea are ready to increase their maximum bid for Serie A striker Andrea Belotti this summer.
It’s thought that they are now willing to pay £55million for the Italian, but are reluctant to pay his full £85million release clause.
He’s currently the joint-top scorer in Serie A, having scored 29 goals in 35 games this season.
It is looking increasingly likely that frontman Diego Costa will leave Chelsea in the summer.
Club chiefs will sit down with the Spain striker at the end of the season to sort his future, amid interest from the Chinese Super League.
When asked about Belotti, Torino chairman Urbano Cairo said: ‘I’d keep him here for life, but I’m obliged to let him go if someone from abroad offers €100million (£85million).
‘Then it would be down to him, but we have a splendid relationship and can go a long way together.’
