Fabian Delph insists Manchester City can repeat their last season’s feat and can break the 100 points barrier once again.
City have just dropped four points so far and are currently hot favourites to lift the Premier League title once again. They have looked almost flawless and no teams have managed to resist Pep Guardiola’s fiery attacking gameplay.
Delph has managed to overturn his career at the Etihad stadium and has been deputised on a number of positions and has also been used on the left side of the defence. The English international was on the verge of leaving the English champions but a string of good performances have changed his fortunes.
Delph said, “I feel like if we stay in the mindset where we take each game as it comes then there’s a good chance we could rack up the same amount of points that we did last season.
“Last season was a strange one because, without wishing to sound arrogant, I thought we were going to win every trophy. It just felt like it was going to happen. It was a great feeling to have and it will be no different this season.”
