Where will Jadon Sancho play?
That seems to be the most popular question in the bank right now.
The Borrusia Dortmund winger has played for Manchester City as an academy player but left as a teenager after failing to get into the first team. At Dortmund, he has now become one of the most sought after young players in the world.
There are clubs who desperately want his signature but many know they cannot afford him. So what is the hoopla about? Is Sancho seriously worth that much?
Former Manchester United and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves seems to think so.
‘Jadon is a pretty unique person, and his ability is off the charts’ said the former Bundesliga star on BT Sport.
‘I think he is a special case because whoever gets him . . . the fees are going to be significant, but that is a player for potentially a decade.’
‘So he walks into any of our great teams, our Man Citys, our Liverpools, even a Barcelona or a Real Madrid if he fancies it. His level is that good.’
This would be a perfect analysis for Sancho. He has not yet had a 50 goal season but he poses a unique threat that no other 19 year old on world football has right now.
He has shown that he is ambitious enough to chase and not settle and many clubs are exactly wanting that in their talisman.
