Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has vowed that he wants to stay with the club.
After initially struggling to adapt to life England, De Bruyne has installed himself as one of the best players at the Etihad Stadium.
The Belgian has plenty to look forward to. He is under contract until 2021, and has recently become a father for the first time.
After a storming start to the season, City have lost a little ground to leaders Chelsea in recent weeks.
With one League Cup success under his belt, De Bruyne is anticipating more trophies to come in the next few years.
“The past few years have been hectic. The intention now is to start a long project. There’s no need to move again in the near future,” he told Sport/Voetbalmagazine.
“Not so much because I’m 25, but just because everything here is top notch.
“Manchester is a great city to live in and City are a great team, perhaps without the history of the other traditional clubs, but it’s up to us to write it.”
