Manchester United target Yerry Mina could be going to Everton after the Merseyside club agreed terms with Barcelona. Reports claim that he will sign a five-year deal with the Toffees for a fee of £28.5 million.

Yerry Mina was strongly linked to Everton and Manchester United. However, Mina’s £35 million deal with Manchester United collapsed after a fallout over his agent’s fees. And now, it seems that the 23-year old will go to Goodison Park.

Mina joined Barcelona this January from Palmeiras at a transfer fee of €11.8 million. However, he made only 6 appearances for the club.

Mina was impressive at the World Cup this summer where he scored three goals for Colombia. He scored the winner against Senegal which helped Colombia reach the knockout stages of the tournament. Mina’s World Cup performances made him a sought-after player.

Provided Mina joins Everton, he will be Marco Silva’s fourth summer signing after Richarlison, Lucas Digne and Joao Virginia. Everton begin their Premier League campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
