We are already underway in the season 2019/20. With almost four months gone, it’s a good time to assess the new signings all clubs have made in the summer this season.

Not every player that signs for a new club start firing on all cylinders from the first day itself. Some take time to get immereed into the club cultures while some take to their new club like fish to water. Let’s have a look at five players who have impressed their new employers this season.

5. Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey left Arsenal to join Italian champions Juventus on a free transfer this summer. And, it’s safe to say the Bianconeri have pulled put out a bargain signing.

The Welshman has made only three appearances for the Old Lady in the Serie A but hasn’t failed to leave his mark. Ramsey has helped Maurizio Sarri increase the competition in the middle of the park by maintaining a shots-per-goal ratio of 1.7 and an 84% pass accuracy.

At his age, the 30-year-old will hardly be a regular starter for Juventus. But, Ramsey has already showed that he is a midfield general reliable when called upon.4. Joao Felix

When Atletico Madrid shelled out £106m to sign Joao Felix from Benfica, everyone labelled it as a joke and a big risk. Now, four moths letter, the 19-year-old prodigy has been a revelation since joining the LaLiga side.

Felix came into the spotlight after a brilliant season with Benfica and has comfortably replicated his form at Wanda Metropolitano. He had a debut pre-season to remember. His stats might not say a lot or everything about what he’s done, but there’s no doubt Felix has always looked to be a menace down the right flank for Diego Simeone.

With the mammoth responsibility of filling Antoine Griezmann’s shoes, it’ll be interesting to see if Felix succeeds in his cause.3. Daniel James

Dark days for Manchester United aren’t past yet, it seems. And yet, in all those clouds hovering above, Daniel James seems to be the perfect acquisition the Red Devils have made in recent years.

Dan James has hit the ground running at Old Trafford right from their first Premier League game against Chelsea. With 3 goals in 8 games under his belt, the Welshman is also United’s most dangerous player in front of goal, with 2 shots on target on an average in a Premier League game.

The fact that he gets fouled 2.2 times every game tells how menacing James can be down the flank, thanks to his gifted speed.2. Tanguy Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele became the first player Tottenham managed to sign in the transfer market after the Lillywhites signed him from Lyon this summer. Safe to say that the Frenchman has everything in abundance to prove why Pochettino forked out north of £50m to sign him.

Ndombele has played four times for Tottenham and his spark hasn’t gone amiss. The 25-year-old has scored two goals in six games already and has made 2.8 tackles per game, proving his mettle as the typical defensive midfielder.

As the season passes by, it will be interesting to see how the Frenchman affects Tottenham’s chances of winning a title this season.1. Gabriel Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli signed for Arsenal this summer from Brazilian outfit Ituano. Still eighteen and with lots of untapped potentials, the striker has already shown the Gunners faithful that they have unearthed a gem.

Unai Emery has used Martinelli mostly in knockout competitions and given him a few minutes in the Premier League. When played for a considerable period of time, the wonder kid has shown he is capable of breaking the deadlock whenever called upon.

Martinelli scored a brace against Nottingham and Standard Liege in the EFL Cup and Europa League respectively. As the season passes by, it will be interesting to see how he progresses.
