Vincent Kompany has reportedly made Manchester City transfer decision.

His contract is set to expire at the end of this season.

Manchester City defender and skipper Vincent Kompany has made the decision about his stay at the club at the end of the season. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season and it looks unlikely that the Citizens would extend it beyond this season. The player has been down with injury concerns and has missed chunks of this season as well as the last one and might be on the verge of departure from the Etihad Stadium.

Speaking to the media, the veteran Belgian said, “When you’ve been at a club for such a long time, it’s almost like dealing with your family members. You may agree or disagree, but in the end you’ll come up with something – and you’ll still be family at the end of the day.”

He added, “That’s how I handle it, so there’s no reason to speculate, or talk about anything externally. It will happen in house. I still feel there’s 10 years to play for. I wake up every morning motivated. I still compete and try and find a way to convince the manager to put me in the squad.”
