It’s that time again! Sillyseason will be giving their starting 11 after exciting weekend in the Barclays Premier League

GK- Costel Pantilimon (Sunderland)

The Sunderland shot stopper saved all 8 shots on target in the Tyne-Wear Derby on Sunday and helped the Black Cats win their 6th successive Derby.

RB- Carl Jenkinson (West Ham)

The full back put in a decent performance against Chelsea and also proved an attacking threat on the break. He was never really troubled by Chelsea during the 90 minutes.

CB- Virgil Van Dijk (Southmpton)

What a performance from the former Celtic man. 42 passes for a defender is fantastic. He dealt with Origi well and almost scored at the other end.

CB- Nicolas Otamendi (Manchester City)

In the Manchester derby Otamendi dealt with the United attack well. He was given the task of marking Rooney, which he did with ease. The Argentine was in a dominant mood at Old Trafford to produce what was his best showing in England.

LB- Aaron Cresswell (West Ham United)

In my opinion the best English Left Back. He dealt with the Chelsea attack well and put dangerous crosses into the box for his teammates, in particular the late set up for Andy Carroll’s winner.

CDM- N’Golo Kante (Leicester City)

In football you sometimes just have to keep the ball, this is exactly what the ‘next makelele did in their 1-0 against Palace.

LCM- Dimitri Payet (West Ham United)

The best singing of the summer was at it again against Chelsea. It was his corner that ended in Mauro Zarate’s opening goal and he also was involved in Carroll’s winner.

RCM- Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)

The German assisted one against Everton, putting in a exciting performance for Wenger’s side.

RW- Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)

The leagues top scorer was it at again with a well taken finish against Palace.

ST- Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur)

He is back. With just one goal before Sunday’s trip to Bournemouth the Englishman answered his critics by scoring 3.

LW- Andre Ayew (Swansea City)

It was The battle of the brothers at Villa park on Saturday, both scored. However Andre got the winner and penultimately caused Tim Sherwood to lose his job.
