According to reports from AS, Real Madrid have agreed on a transfer fee for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic. Los Blancos will sign the Serb on a transfer fee of €60 million. Eintracht Frankfurt will receive €48 million while Benfica will receive €12 million.

Luka Jovic has established himself as one of the most sought-after players in Europe through his performances for Eintracht Frankfurt this season. Jovic has scored 26 goals and has provided 7 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.

His performances have helped Frankfurt to their first European semi-final since the 1979-80 UEFA Cup. Frankfurt are also in a strong position to reach the Champions League for the first time since the 1959-60 season.

Several clubs were interested in signing the young Serb including Manchester United, Barcelona, PSG, Liverpool and Chelsea amongst others. However, it seems like Real Madrid might have managed to rope him in for the next season, If this report from AS is to be true, Jovic will be Real’s second signing for next season after the club managed to sign Eder Militao just weeks back.
