Hardest shots in football ever? Remember seeing Roberto Carlos’s bullet free kicks in the 90’s? Remember seeing Zlatan Ibrahimovic smashing the ball in? Remember David Beckham’s free kicks? Well  We have been looking all over for fast and hard shots from all leagues and tournaments to find the hardest shots ever in football . This list is an unofficial list but it shows some of the hardest shots in football ever recorded.

There are a lot of people who wonder which player has fired the hardest shot in football ever and shortly you will know who has fired the world hardest shots in football. All time hardest shot is a real cannon shot that must be seen several times. Zlatan smash shot against Anderlecht is included on this list of the hardest shots in football ever.

10. David Beckham – 129.5 kmh Manchester United v Liverpool – 1996


In the match against Liverpool a young David Beckham wrote himself into the history books thanks to his hard shot. Englishman’s shot was measured to be 129.5 km/h.

9. Hami Mandirali, Schalke 04-131 km/h


The Turk Hami Mandıralı or “Rocket Man” rocket shots is spot nine in our list. Mandıralıs free kick goal was first measured to a whopping 266 km/h, but it turned out to be it was a little crazy. The shot was measured subsequent to 131 km / h.

8. Obafemi Martins – 135.1 km / h Newcastle against Tottenham 2007


Nigerian Obafemi Martins was not just a very quick and talented player who likes challenged in one-man situations, but he shots very hard as well. This shot is from his time in Newcastle in a match against Tottenham and the shot measured up to 135 km/h!

7. Roberto Carlos, Brazil – 138 km / h – Brazil v France 1997


Roberto Carlos was very famous for his skills where he could score goals from almost every position on the pitch. This happened very often and just this free kick goal for Brazil against France in 1997 was a terrible cannon shot. The French goalkeeper Fabien Barthez had no chance when the shot came flying with senseless screw in 138 km / h!

6. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, PSG – 150 km / h – PSG against Anderlecht


Zlatan ligtning goal against Anderlecht land on a very nice 7th place on the list. Zlatan projectile against Anderlecht was first measured to 122 km/h, but was later changed into 150 km/h which was stated in the official match report. This is probably Zlatan’s hardest shot.

5. David Trezeguet – 154.4 km / h – AS Monaco against Manchester United in 1998


David Trezeguet started playing football when he was eight years old. What we most remember of him is his time at Juventus but this goal for AS Monaco was one of the neatest he had done. David Trezeguet was only 20 years old when he pressed the goal with his right foot. The Frenchman must have had gunpowder in his shoes when he fired the gun at Old Trafford in the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester United in 1998. The shot was measured at 154.4 km/h!

4. Tony Yeboah, Leeds – 154 km / h


Leeds icon Tony Yeboah made his name in the Premier League for his violent right foot. This dream goal of the season 95-96 as he did against Wimbledon was probably his hardest goal to score.

3. Steven Reid, Blackburn – 189 km / h


Steven Reid against Wigan rocket is the goal that is often referred to as the hardest shot ever with its 189 km/h. However, it seems like his wrist shot only end up in third place with many unofficial lists and hence have also chosen to do it.

2. Arjen Robben, Real Madrid – 190 km/h


Arjen Robben had a dream shot in a Champions League match in which Real Madrid meeting Borussia Dortmund. The Dutchman, who played for Real Madrid, then placed the ball on the volley. The shot was bang hard and has reportedly measured at 190 km/h.

1. Ronny Heberson – Sporting Lisbon 210.8 km / h


Ronny Heberson have fired the hardest shot ever that entered the goal. The Brazilian fired a free kick for Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese top flight and the shot was meastured to 210.8 km/h. Heberson shot from about 16.5 meters and the ball hit the goal net in 0.28 seconds (according to The Guardian).

The goalkeeper did not have a chance to prevent the ball from going into the goal. See the goal in slow motion to have enough time to see the ball. Remains to be seen how long this will remain the fiercest football shot ever.
