Conte has signed a deal to take over at Tottenham until 2023.

Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has been appointed as the new boss of North London club, Tottenham Hotspur. The club has officially confirmed. The Italian star has replaced Nuno Espírito Santo, who was sacked on Monday following a poor start to the season. This is the second time in the year when Spurs appointed a new manager.

“I can’t wait to start working to convey to the team and the fans the passion, mentality and determination that have always distinguished me, as a player and as a coach,” Conte said.

“Last summer our union did not happen because the end of my relationship with Inter was still too recent and emotionally too involved with the end of the season, so I felt that it wasn’t yet the right time to return to coaching.”

Conte has signed a deal to take over at Tottenham until 2023. The 52-year-old will take training later on Tuesday ahead of the Europa Conference League clash with Vitesse Arnhem on Thursday.

Conte had good numbers as manager and recently won a Serie A title with Milan. He has also won the Premier League in 2017 with Chelsea.
