BBC reports that Tottenham Hotspur have signed a new contract with their shirt sponsor, AIA Insurance worth £320m over the next 8 years.

The comes to £40m per season which is the same as Chelsea with Yokohama Tires. Manchester United currently hold the record deal at £50m per season with USA based car company, Chevrolet.

AIA will continue to appear in the front all Spurs teams, be it men’s, youth or women’s up until 2027. They unveiled their newly renovated season in December last year which has doubled their seating capacity.

Tottenham paid off construction payments through loans and still recorded enough profits to buy Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke this summer. Mauricio Pochettino has still kept his eyes on Real Betis midfielder, Giovani Lo Celso who is reportedly being priced at £70m.

The North London outfit have also made a major breakthrough in negotiations for Fulham star, Ryan Sessegnon with Danny Rose expected to head out. Surely, the exposure and revenue from the Champions League final appearances last season gave Tottenham enough firepower to strengthen their side for the upcoming campaign.
