Chelsea willing to cash in out-of-favour defender Trevoh Chalobah.

The versatile defender was attracting interest from the likes of West Ham, Crystal Palace and Everton this summer.

The Chelsea academy graduate went on to make 63 appearances across all competitions since his debut but is yet to make an appearance this campaign.

Chalobah is way down the pecking order behind Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Levil Colwill and Thiago Silva in the pecking order.

There has been speculation over a January loan departure even though Chelsea values the defender at £50m.

The 24-year-old defender knows that leaving Stamford Bridge would give him the opportunity to gain regular playing time.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims both parties are in full agreement and a January departure is on the cards.

“There is the expectation that Trevoh Chalobah will leave in January after almost doing so in the summer,” said Romano.

“Both Chelsea and Chalobah feel that partying ways in January is the best solution or both sides. I think his fee could be around £25m as it was in the summer, but again it depends on the negotiation – that’s not guaranteed yet. Bayern Munich were interested in the summer and in my opinion he can play anywhere – he’s a very good and underrated player.”
