Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reiterated his desire to stay at the club following their win over Sevilla yesterday. Los Blancos clinched a 1-0 victory to climb to the second spot with 11 points in the league table.

The Frenchman was appointed as the head coach for a second time last season, following lacklustre stints of Julen Lopetegui and Luis Felipe Scolari. He came under intense scrutiny following a lackadaisical start to the season.

The media also churned out reports suggesting Florentino Perez could be forced to bring back former coach Jose Mourinho into the stead.

“I’m not thinking about leaving. I’m only thinking of winning tomorrow. You are here to speak and you do it well. The difficulties that they speak of on the outside are something we can’t control,” he said, as per AS.

“It doesn’t bother me to hear Moutinho, it is what it is. I don’t have to say if I read it or now, that’s the situation. Here, you lose one game and you have to change everything.”

Real Madrid will face Osasuna next on 26th September.
