Whenever a club brings in a transfer bomb, the fans’ enthusiasm is up the roof.

We bring a list of the biggest presentations in football history, the players who attracted the highest number of people to their new stadium.

Since Eden Hazard has been the latest player to have received a presentation that is worthy of a massive football star, we have to see where he ranks among the Top 10 biggest presentations in football history.

There have been players who create massive mobilization in a whole city that becomes paralyzed due to their arrival. There are a couple of names on this list that literally moved hundreds of thousands of people who only wanted to get a glimpse of their new star.

Football is a strange phenomenon, it creates moments like the ones that we are about to mention. Here are the Top 10 footballers presentations with biggest audience.

10. David Villa – 35,000

This one happened when the Spanish striker moved from Valencia to FC Barcelona, he was one of Pep Guardiola’s good transfer decisions.

Camp Nou was visited by 35,000 strong to greet the player, who gave them many more memorable nights in that stadium.

9. James Rodriguez – 36,000

The Colombian playmaker was coming from a spectacular World Cup performance with his national team. Florentino Perez decided to splash the cash for him and the fans were very excited to have him on the team.

Unfortunately, Rodriguez didn’t have the success he wanted at the club and eventually left to play at Bayern Munich on a loan.

This one happened after Fernando Torres finally made his decision to return to his beloved club, he came from Chelsea FC.

‘El Niño’ was one of the reasons the Colchoneros could grow as a club because he left a lot of money after they reluctantly sold him to Liverpool. The man felt that he owed them his life, which is why he decided to return to a filled Vicente Calderon Stadium.

The latest of the great welcomes that the Real Madrid supporters gave to one of their new arrivals, Eden Hazard brought together quite a few fans.

There is still no way of knowing if his arrival will work, but the supporters and the player are feeling very confident that he will.

The second most expensive player that Florentino Perez brought for his second term as the Real Madrid president in 2009.

Kaka came as a massive star who deeply disappointed everybody during his time at Real Madrid, but he did get a lot of attention from the supporters.

After a long negotiation with Santos, Barcelona was finally able to close the deal on Neymar and they presented him in front of all these people.

The Brazilian player is one of the few high profile transfers who actually did well at the club. However, Neymar broke everybody’s hearts after leaving to play at Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

This one happened after Carlos Teves felt that he was finished with his incredible career in European football. The obvious destination for him was to go back to the club that gave him everything from the very beginning.

The mythical Bombonera Stadium was packed to receive one of their idols back for a few more years of competition.

After becoming one of Serie A’s biggest players at the moment, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was convinced by Pep Guardiola to play at Barcelona. The Swedish player was received by 60,000 fans that were eager to watch him perform at Camp Nou.

Unfortunately for Zlatan, he didn’t get along well with the manager and he only played there for a single season.

Perhaps the most mythical presentation in football history, Diego Maradona moved a whole city when the announcement of his arrival was made. The Argentine player filled San Paolo Stadium with 65,000 people, but hundreds of thousands were left outside wishing they could witness history in the making.

The Maradona-mania was born that day, Diego went on to become the best player in the world during that period.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo – 75,000

Still the biggest presentation of a player that anybody has ever witnessed in football history, Cristiano Ronaldo filled the Santiago Bernabeu during the summer of 2009. This man came to change Real Madrid’s history once again, he played there for nine spectacular seasons and he never disappointed anybody.

We don’t know if there will ever be a presentation like this one ever again, perhaps Kylian Mbappe can match it when he moves anywhere in the future.
