Well that is what in store for Manchester United if reports are to be believed. Jose Mourinho’s last few weeks in Manchester were nothing short of a failed reign. The Portuguese remained defiant and blamed it on an incomplete squad, moaning for a new centre-back.
The Portuguese was sacked last week and new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly ready to receive a New Year’s gift in the form of Kostas Manolas, the AS Roma defender. The Greek centre-back is a strong figure in defence and will definitely add shape to United’s backline, if the Red Devils bring him in.
Manolas has a €36m release clause in the summer which might convince Roma to sell for a bigger price in the January market.
