Blue boss Antonio Conte has confirmed the signing of Alvaro Morata.
The Spain international joins the Premier League Champions from Real Madrid in a deal worth £70m.
Morata is expected to replace Diego Costa who was told by Conte he doesn’t feature in his Chelsea plans for the upcoming season.
The Italian manager is looking forward to working with his new signing.
He said: “I think for sure this is a good signing for us, he is a young player but has a lot of experience, he went to Juventus and Real Madrid.
“He has a lot of experience and I think this is a good sign for us.”
“We have added a fantastic striker, even at a young age he has won a lot already and we are looking forward to welcoming him to the squad.”
