Chelsea Football Club are weighing up a £17million bid for Keita Balde Diao
Keita Baldé Diao is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward for Italian Club S.S. Lazio and the Senegal national team.
Chelsea Football Club are reportedly the latest club to show an interest in Lazio winger Keita Balde Diao and could make an opening offer of around £17million for him this summer.
It is no secret Chelsea will need to bring in new faces in order to cope with the added stresses of European football, and many have been speculating who Conte could bring in.
Alvaro Morata is believed to be the striker on top of Conte’s shopping list. The Spaniard is reported to be Conte’s favoured choice ahead of both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez – reportedly because Conte feels Lukaku will cost an amount he does not feel he is worth, and because although he admires Sanchez, he believes Arsenal simply will not sell to Chelsea.
According to La Repubblica Via the Metro: Chelsea Football Club have cast their eye upon Keita as an option to strengthen their front three, with the Senegal international an option on the left flank or in a more central attacking role.
The 22-year-old scored 16 Serie A goals last season to attract interest from bigger clubs, with the likes of Liverpool and Juventus also linked with him earlier in this transfer window.
