Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has said Alex Sandro will stay at the Serie A club.
The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge all summer, with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte seeing Sandro as a perfect fit for the left wing-back position in his 3-4-3 formation.
Chelsea had been heavily tipped to sign the 26-year-old, in a deal worth around ÂŁ60 million, but Allegri has insisted the left-back is staying put.
“Alex Sandro is a Juve player, he’s extraordinary and he’s not moving from here,” Allegri said after his side’s friendly victory over Roma.
“He’s improved a lot since he arrived here and he still has margin for improvement. Together with Marcelo, I think he is the best full-back in the world.”
