Frank Lampard says Manchester City and Tottenham are The Blue’s biggest threat in the Premier League title race.
However, he cannot see his former side being caught.
Man City were early frontrunners in the top-flight, but then their form fell away and they lost ground on the Blues and Spurs.
However, City have four consecutive victories to help close the gap to second-placed and Tottenham to just one point.
And Chelsea great Lampard believes Guardiola’s men are capable of maintaining their run to keep pressure on his former side.
When asked which team will emerge as the greatest threat to the league leaders, Lampard told Sky Sports: ‘I think Man City – it’s between them and Tottenham.
‘The way Harry Kane is playing, you wouldn’t say he’s carrying them, but he’s one of the best strikers in the world on current form.
‘Pep says City need to win every game and I think he’s right. But City would be the ones, the way they play, they can get on a run.
‘I still think defensively they’re vulnerable which is why I can’t see Chelsea being caught.’
