Manchester United have reportedly made a £70m bid to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid
Rodriguez has been heavily linked with a move away from Real Madrid this summer following his lack of playing time at the Spanish club last season.
Metro is reporting that United have now tabled an official offer for James as Jose Mourinho looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
The same reports claims the Red Devils have tried to steal a march on their rivals by tabling a bid more than Real Madrid’s asking price, which is said to be around £66m.
Chelsea Football Club are reported to be in the race for the Columbian International, however, no official bid has been put forth
