Naby Keita’s proposed transfer to Liverpool is now a step closer after sources reporting Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the player.

After securing the services of Dominic Solanke and Mohammed Salah, Liverpool have now turned their attention to the signing of Guinea midfielder Naby Keita. The African midfielder has been a revelation in the German Bundesliga since signing for RB Leipzig. The 22 year old midfielder has been on Jurgen Klopp’s radar for a while now as interest was shown last season but nothing materialised.

However, latest reports claim that Naby Keita has told RB Leipzig he is ready to depart and become Liverpool’s third summer signing. Liverpool will still need to agree a fee with RB Leipzig, who are demanding a fee in excess of 55 million euros for the young midfielder.

Earlier last week, reports circulated that RB Leipzig were convinced to hold on to their star man however they are now ready to negotiate a huge deal with LFC which will smash their transfer record. Talks between the two clubs will commence soon with both clubs hoping a deal will be struck sooner rather than later.
