Chelsea are set to complete the signing of Fiorentina’s Juan Cuadrado.
The Blues have been in talks with the Serie A side all week, with a view to bringing the Colombian to Stamford Bridge.
Despite previously indicating the player wasn’t for sale, and with a £26.8m release clause in his contract, it appears that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has got his man.
The Blues have offered £23m for the winger, who is known for his pace and dribbling.
Cuadrado had an impressive World Cup for the Colombian national side, scoring in the group stage against Japan, and finished tied with German star Toni Kroos as top assist player with four.
Mourinho must be hoping that, should the deal be completed, he can bring his speed, dribbling and ability to set up goals to Stamford Bridge.
