Aaron Ramsey’s contract situation at Arsenal has alerted a host of clubs around Europe and according to reports, Juventus and AC Milan are interested in bringing the player to Italy.
The Welsh midfielder has been with the club since 2008 and is one of the longest servants at the Emirates. The midfielder is in his last year of the contract and despite efforts from the club the situation hasn’t changed.
It had been expected the 27 year old would happily agree on terms but there has been a sudden change in the mood and it seems Ramsey is determined to see out his contract.
Unai Emery seems to be impressed by the player’s versatility and has deployed him on a number of positions. If the current scenario remains same the former Cardiff City player would be able to sign a pre contract with any club in January and that could be a huge blow to Arsenal’s long term plans.
Former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is slated to join Milan and could pursue the signing of Ramsey. Gazidis will be aware of the contract standoff and could play a role in bringing the player to the San Siro after this season.
