Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has today confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey will miss up to a further six weeks of action after suffering a setback in his recovery.
The Welshman picked up a thigh injury during the club’s 3-0 victory over Cardiff City a couple of months ago and hasn’t featured since, but he was in line to make his return on Tuesday night against Southampton, but he wasn’t included in the squad which raised eyebrows about his condition.
Wenger then confirmed after that match that the midfielder suffered a setback on Sunday and today he confirmed that it will be six weeks until Ramsey is match-fit again.
When asked in his conference about Ramsey, Wenger responded with: “Aaron Ramsey will be out for 4-6 weeks. I count six weeks”
