Andy Robertson helping Klopp with Scottish lessons for chats with Dalglish
Jurgen Klopp has hailed Andy Robertson’s decision to commit his long-term future to Liverpool and reports claim that the German is receiving some language lessons from the Scotsman to help him in his interactions with club legend Kenny Dalglish.
Robertson has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League since his move to Anfield from Hull City and the 24-year-old extended his stay at the club by putting pen to paper on a new deal.
Klopp showered praise on the left-back, saying that he has impressed a lot with his all-round development as a player.
“I’m very happy about it and it’s really cool.
It’s a very special story of Robbo I still love and the improvement and development of him have been outstanding, nobody could have expected that.” Klopp told a news conference on Friday.
“We were hoping it would be like this but expect it? I don’t think so. It’s brilliant and it’s fantastic to have this boy around as he’s not only a fantastic player, he’s an even better person.
I improved my Scottish a little bit which helps with my conversations with Kenny Dalglish, but still different to be honest with the language Kenny is speaking.”
