Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis says that Arsenal are currently in deep negotiations over some of their transfer targets. Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is very keen on adding more players to his FA-Cup-Winning squad so The Gunners can mount a title challenge next season.

The Gunners have been linked with many players all across Europe, including former captain Cesc Fabregas, who is reportedly se to leave the Nou Camp this summer.

It is understood that Fabregas is an option, however Wenger insisted that Arsenal had no plans of re-singing the Spanish international. Toulouse right-back Serge Aurier, has been tagged as a potential replacement for Bacary Sagna, who is destined to leave The Emirates this summer.

Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata is also a target of Arsenal’s, along with ex-Manchester City striker, Mario Balotelli, who is linked with a move away from his current club AC Milan.

“Transfers are obviously important and we are deep in conversations already. I am confident we will add what we need this summer,” he said.

“The manager is not scared to spend, has the experience, but as always will have to juggle a set budget.

“We are all really pleased with securing Champions League qualification again. Last season was a great experience for players to win the FA Cup and now we want more.

” Wenger recently agreed to a new contract at Arsenal, which brought the speculation over the manager’s future. Gazidis added: “Arsene is impossible to replace. He has given us the footballing philosophy we have now.

“Arsene’s legacy is based on him wanting to take Arsenal to the next level, and everything he did and still does is for the future of the club.”
