Inter Milan are closely monitoring the situation developing in North London as contract talks between Arsenal and Bacary Sagna are dragging on. Arsenal are however expected to close the deal soon due to the sudden interest.
Although Sagna and Arsenal are expected to agree on a new deal, interest form Inter might turn the players head. Inter are rebuilding their team and have already recruited Nemanja Vidic off Manchester United with Patrice Evra and Luis Nani expected to join.
Sagna was initially unhappy about the length of time it took Arsenal to offer him a new deal and the chance to get one final payday might tempt the defender.
Sagna is set to meet Arsene Wenger later this week to finalise details and perhaps be persuaded by Le Prof to stay, in case he was thinking about leaving.
