Arsenal are weighing up a move for Wolfsburg Maximillian Arnold.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been tracking the youngster for some time, after impressive performances in the Bundesliga last season.

Speaking to the media in Germany Arnold has given Arsenal the green light to try and persure his signature by stating that it would be a ‘dream’ to move to Arsenal.

Becoming a regular with Wolfsburg last season, Arsenal were first linked with the player back in February of this year when he was just 19-years-old. During his last campaign, Arnold scored seven and grabbed two assists in 28 league appearances and has already been given the tag of ‘next Mesut Ozil.’

Arnold’s contract with Wolfsburg runs until 2015 when he would be available at Arsene Wenger’s favourite price – free.

However it is known that Juventus are also tracking the player’s progress and are ready to step up their efforts to sign the young midfielder.
