The Gunners have been dealt a transfer blow as it is reported that Sami Khedira will join Bayern Munich next summer.
The world cup winner is out of contract at the end of the year and is free to move to any club, with earlier reports suggesting a move to Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United may have been on the cards.
It now seems Bayern Munich have beaten the premier league trio in the race to sign the midfielder.
According to Spanish radio Cedena Ser, Pep Guardiola has already been told by Khedira that he will join the German giants on a free at the end of the season.
Khedira has spent 5 years in Spain and it is claimed he is keen for a return home where he will receive a salary higher than he currently does at the Bernabeu.
