Centre-back sits out of France game due to back injury
Arsenal have been dealt another potential injury blow with the news that Laurent Koscielny sat out of France’s match against Serbia last night.
The centre-back missed The Gunners‘ 0-0 draw with Liverpool due to a back problem, but was back in the first-team for the match against Newcastle United.
However, he sat out of France’s match last night due to an injury to his ‘psoas’.
Out for Stoke City
The latest knock means who could be forced to miss the game against Stoke City this weekend.
Arsenal already suffered damaging news on the injury front with Danny Welbeck set for time on the sidelines after undergoing surgery, and an injury to Koscielny would be the last thing Arsene Wenger wants.
French media have claimed he missed out as a precaution, but it could lead to him missing Saturday’s game against Mark Hughes‘ men.
