Paris Saint-Germain have moved quickly to rubbish reports suggesting that the club have agreed a player-swap deal with Italian side, AS Roma.

According to reports, the French side had made a cash+player offer to Roma, which has been accepted and agreed, but today, they have been quick to rubbish the reports.

It was speculated that starlet, Adrien Rabiot, was going to be swapped with Kevin Strootman, with PSG paying money as well to wrap up the deal.

The news came as a massive blow to Premier League trio; Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea, as all three have shown interest in either Rabiot or Strootman in the past few months.

However, Roma boss, Rudi Garcia, has quickly rubbished reports claiming a deal is in place between themselves and PSG.

“He’s a big player and he’s a player in whom we are interested,” Garcia told Canal Plus.

“Our club follows all players who have big potential.

“He’s a PSG player and I have nothing else to say about him.

“He has no secret agreement with us.”
