Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that right-back Bacary Sagna will miss the game with Hull City tomorrow night at the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the Wednesday night game in London, Wenger has confirmed that he will rotate his team after playing on Saturday and also playing at the weekend, but the French boss has revealed that Sagna is injured with a hamstring problem.

“I believe we will lose Sagna who has a slight hamstring problem and he should be out for tomorrow’s game,” said Wenger. “Carl Jenkinson is likely to come back.

“I rotate considering the level of fatigue. We have some indications, my eyes and some objective datas and as well of course some positions are more demanding on the physical front than others.

“We have so many games that in some positions I will have to change, the full-back position is one of them that is very demanding.

“Central defence is less physical, running-wise it’s a little bit less demanding on the physical side, it’s more on the concentration side. We expect when you play so many games of that intensity to lose one or two players during these games.”
