According to reports from the Star via AS, Real Madrid and Barcelona are weighing up moves for Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Virgil van Dijk with the view of making a potential bid in the near future.

Jurgen Klopp joined Liverpool in 2015 and guided them to Champions League glory last season. The German manager has been praised for making Liverpool one of the strongest title-contenders for the Premier League.

Virgil van Dijk was signed by Klopp for a record ÂŁ75m deal from Southampton in 2018 before Harry Maguire surpassed him to become the world’s most expensive defender. The Dutchman has been in red-hot form since joining the Merseysiders and recently clinched the UEFA Men’s Player Of The Year award.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have endured rocky starts to their LaLiga campaigns this season, with none of them winning more than two out of their four league matches.

With pressures on Zinedine Zidane and Ernesto Valverde mounting higher as days pass by, either of them could face the sack if they fail to meet the expectations at their respective clubs.

Liverpool registered their fifth win in the Premier League this season, maintaining their hundred percent record and the pole position in the league table with a five-point lead over Manchester City.
