Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have announced that they will not bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez this summer. Liverpool have also claimed that they will not listen to any offers for Suarez and manager Brendan Rodgers is confident that the 27-year-old will stay put after the Uruguayan recently signed a new 5-year-contract at Anfield.
Rodger’s can further back-up his confidence as Liverpool are set to play in the Champions League next season.The new release clause has been kept confidential, however it is understood that there is no fee that English clubs will have to pay for Liverpool to listen to an offer.
This would mean that foreign clubs could have to pay more then the £86 million Real Madrid payed for Bale at the start of last season for the Uruguayan’s services.
