According to reports, Barca have won the race to sign Valencia right-back Joao Cancelo in a £25m deal
The 22-year-old is said to be wanted by several top European clubs after showing some impressive form for Valencia over the past two seasons.
Spanish outlet Sport are claiming Barcelona have now agreed to sign him in the summer.
They say the La Liga giants have jumped ahead of competition from Chelsea and Bayern Munich and Cancelo will move to the Nou Camp at the end of the season.
It is also said that Cancelo has signed a five-year deal with Barca and it will cost them around £25m.
Jorge Mendes has apparently negotiated the transfer and really wanted it done in January.
However, Cancelo has said to have asked to stay at Valencia to help them out for the rest of the season before making the switch across Spain in the summer.
Apparently, only the final transfer fee is left to be agreed as everything else is sorted.
