Barcelona have warned Manchester United and Arsenal off making bids for Cesc Fabregas, amid reports the midfielder could be set for a return to the Premier League. He is believed to no longer be needed at the Nou Camp and Arsene Wenger and Louis Van Gal are both keeping tabs on the situation.
However, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has rubbished the speculation and has insisted that he has no intention of letting Fabregas, or any other player for that matter, leave the club this summer. He said:
“We don’t want to sell players. Barca do not want to sell Fabregas or any other players that may appear to be on the market.”
Arsenal are keen on a move for their former player, while Louis Van Gaal wants to make Fabregas one of his first signings at Old Trafford.
