Barcelona could make a big-money swoop for Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho this summer, with the Spanish champions viewing the Brazilian as the ‘perfect replacement’ for club legend Andreas Iniesta.
Iniesta seems as though he could leave the Nou Camp at the end of this season, with his contract expiring at the end of the campaign. He is almost impossible to replace, but Barca have targeted Liverpool’s no.10 as their ideal target.
The Mirror claim Coutinho is at top of Barca’s wishlist following his stunning form for Liverpool over recent seasons.
Paris St-Germain star Marco Verratti and Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara, once of Barcelona, are also catching the eye the La Liga giants.
Coutinho joined Liverpool from Inter Milan in 2012, for just £8million, the Reds will be expecting to make a huge profit from this if they do decide to sell.
