Chelsea Football Club are reportedly in transfer talks for a shock move to sign AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez.
The Blues have apparently offered the star veteran Spaniard a three-year deal just to be back up for Thibaut Courtois.
Lopez lost his spot at Milan last season, however he has shown top form throughout his career at clubs Villarreal, Sevilla and Real Madrid.
According to the crew over at the Daily Mail, the 34-year-old could be a replacement for Asmir Begovic, who has also been linked with Mersyside club Everton.
The Bosnian was Courtois’ understudy just last season but looks like he will move on to play a lot more first-team football, with Diego Lopez happy to spend time on the bench.
