Borussia Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc, has confirmed today that no formal bids have been made for star-striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has been closely monitord by Premier League duo Newcastle United and Chelsea, with both reportedly interested in offering ÂŁ8.5million for the 25-year-old, but Zorc confirmed today in an interview that no formal bids have been made.

Reports in Germany and England suggested that Jose Mourinho was in pole position to land the striker, who signed for Dortmund last Summer from St Etienne, but the man who scored 13-times in his debut season in the Bundesliga, has not had any formal offers so far.

Dortmund general manager Michael Zorc told BILD: “Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a player of Borussia Dortmund. We have received nothing in this respect.”
