Borussia Dortmund star, Ilkay Gundogan, could be on his way to Manchester United with the German giants ready to sell the midfielder for just £16million.
The powerhouse midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to England in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, all interested in signing the 24-year-old despite his injury record.
Gundogan has missed 14-months due to an injury, and despite being grateful to the club for standing by him during his injury woes, that hasn’t stopped him wanting to join a Premier League side in the near-future.
Dortmund are wary that Gundogan’s contract expires in the Summer of 2016, and they are ready to sell him this year in order to raise funds from the sale.
According to reports, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and United are all interested in landing the German international, but it looks like United may have won the race with £16m the likely fee.
