Manchester United and Arsenal target William Carvalho has insisted that he will be staying at Sporting Lisbon and will not be leaving on deadline day.
The 22-year-old holding midfielder has been linked with the Premier League duo throughout the summer, and it was expected that one of the two clubs would sign the Portugese player before the end of the window.
It was revealed that Sporting Lisbon would of been willing to listen to offers around £24 million for their player, but it appears that no approach has been made towards Carvalho.
And now, the midfielder has revealed that he will stay in Portugal: ‘I have a deal with Sporting and I am a player of Sporting.
‘My present is this club and I am feeling very good with Sporting. It really has not entered my head to leave Sporting on the last day.’
