Drinkwater has been linked with a move to Chelsea throughout the summer with a deal looking likely.
Chelsea and Leicester have been unable to agree on a fee for the player as of yet, but the midfielder is said to be interested in a move to the club.
Chelsea need to add depth to their midfield options this summer after losing both Nemanja Matic and Nathaniel Chalobah this summer.
Bakayoko was signed as Matic’s direct replacement but the Blues remain short on numbers in the middle of the park.
