Willian and Pedro out of Arsenal clash
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that both Willian and Pedro will miss the game on Saturday against Arsenal.
The Spaniard was injured during the 3-1 defeat to Everton, while Willian picked up a knock after scoring in last night’s Champions League game against Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Chelsea host Arsenal at lunch-time on Saturday as they look to get their Premier League season back on track, following just four points from five games, but they will have to do it without two attacking-midfielders.
Mourinho Confirms Double Blow
Speaking after the game last night, Mourinho said: “Willian is out for sure, I think Pedro is out for sure.
“I prefer problems when players are playing well than problems when players are playing badly.”
Willian suffered a muscular injury last night, while Pedro is still deemed unfit.
