Chelsea and Arsenal are keen on Henrikh Mkhitaryan and have been handed a boost in their pursuit of £23m-rated star.
The 27-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder is attracting a lot of interest from the Blues and the Gunners ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to sources, talks of a new deal have stalled with current club Dortmund who are unwilling to offer him a contract with a buyout clause in it.
SO WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?
Basically Dortmund are worried of losing the Armenia international, the club was burnt when Bayern Munich triggered Mario Gotze’s £31m buyout back in 2013.
and this contract debate could well play into Chelsea or Arsenal’s hands.
