The Special One has decided that a complete makeover of the forward line at Stamford Bridge and will look to bring in several world-class stars to replace them.

Lukaku has again impressed whilst on loan with Everton, scoring 13 goals in the Premier League this season and 17 with West Brom last season.

But Mourinho is not happy with Lukaku’s attitude and is ready to sell the 20-year-old if a fee can be agreed. At the moment Chelsea value him at just over ÂŁ20m but there is hope that a good World Cup with Belgium will see his value dramatically increase.

Christian Benteke has been ruled out of the tournament meaning Lukaku is set to play a starring role for the Belgium, who are expected to make at least the knockout stages.

The Blues have now decided to hold off any sale of Lukaku until after the World Cup knowing that several good performances on the biggest stage can spark pandamonium amongst other clubs, especially if the player in question is for sale.

Currently only Tottenham and Everton have shown an interest in signing Lukaku permanently but Chelsea are hopeful that a good World Cup will inspire more clubs to come in, potentially starting a bidding war and driving up the price.

Roberto Martinez and Tim Sherwood would do well to sign the player before the start of the tournament as a bigger club, potentially one with extra funds from the Champions League, will find it very easy to outbid their rivals and convince Lukaku to move.

It could also have further benefits for Chelsea who would no doubt prefer to see the young striker move abroad instead of staying in the Premier League where he could potentially hinder their title challenges in years to come.
