Chelsea show interest in Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Chelsea are monitoring Aaron Ramsey’s situation at Arsenal, according to reports.
The Wales international is out of contract in the summer of 2019 and with no new deal close to being signed, speculation is mounting over his future.
The player himself has suggested he is down the pecking order when it comes to Arsenal resolving contract situations.
“Nothing to comment on at the moment,” he told BT Sport ahead of Arsenal’s win over AC Milan. “I think they’ve been busy to tie up other contracts at the moment.”
The Mirror claim that Chelsea are interested in signing the 27-year-old, with the Blues preparing to bring in a number of new players over the summer.
Ramsey would get the approval of Chelsea legend Frank Lampard, who recently spoke highly of the Arsenal star.
“He is class when at his best and I do feel there is another level for him to strive for. He showed great quality at the 2016 European Championship.”
